The Opportunity
Baton Collective, an affiliate of RDV Staffing, has an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Specialist to join our team and elevate the digital presence of our diverse portfolio of businesses. In this role, you will bring brands to life through the art of digital storytelling, highlighting the charm of a boutique hotel, the innovation of a charter aviation business, the vibrancy of a community and its shops and restaurants, and the growth of a coffee franchise – playing a key role in connecting community and places.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will have an opportunity to craft impactful social media campaigns that captivate and inspire. This role will create dynamic content, engage with followers, and collaborate with teams to showcase the best of what we offer. Whether designing vibrant posts, responding to audience inquiries, or analyzing metrics to refine strategies, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping how our brands connect with the world. In this fast-paced, creative position, your skills and dedication will be crucial in making a meaningful, lasting impact.

Location and Hours
- Office is located in Ada with in-office hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- Monday & Friday has the flexibility to work remotely or in-office based on preference and business need. Please note that this role may be required to work outside of traditional business hours to meet deadlines, support local events, or engage with audiences.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Marketing Team to develop and implement a tailored social media strategy that aligns with each brand’s goals and values.
- Design high-quality, on-brand content, including graphics and videos, using tools like Canva and InShot (or similar tools).
- Schedule, post, and monitor content across platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
- Foster community engagement by responding to DMs, comments, and tags promptly and authentically.
- Conduct research to identify emerging social media trends, best practices, and audience insights.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure success and refine strategies.
- Partner with business leaders and teams to brainstorm and execute creative marketing campaigns.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and deliver results, even outside traditional business hours when needed.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience managing social media, ideally in startups or small businesses.
- A deep understanding of small business marketing and the unique challenges it presents.
- Expertise in Canva, Meta Business Suite, video editing software, and other social media tools – or experience with similar tools.
- A sharp, creative eye for crafting visually compelling and engaging content.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- Strong communication skills and a knack for building relationships online and off.
- Proactive, hardworking, and driven to go above and beyond to achieve results.
- Flexibility and agility to adapt to the fast-paced needs of a growing organization with the highest level of service and quality.
