The Opportunity
This hands-on position is responsible for working with a team to proactively maintain the grounds and properties of private residences. Responsibilities will include daily cleaning, preventative care, and ground maintenance. This position allows you to grow with many responsibilities and provide top notch outcomes.

Location and Hours
Full-time or part-time position, located at private residence(s) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 

What You’ll Do
Grounds Maintenance

• Collaborate with the team to perform general property clean up, yard work, and exterior maintenance duties.
• Ensure all outdoor areas, walkways or driveways, doors and furniture are clear of debris and clean.
• Maintain and store power tools and other lawn equipment used to maintain the exterior areas of the residence.
• Assist with cleanliness and operational readiness of seasonal areas at appropriate times of the year.
• Assist with washing, fueling, and detailing of vehicles as needed.
• Place trash and recycling for collection on scheduled days; maintain cleanliness and orderliness of trash receptacles.
• Assist with holiday decorating including hanging and removal of decorations.

General

• Assist with special projects as directed.
• Run various errands, manage deliveries, and transport items as needed.
• May be requested to assist staff after regular hours for special events/parties or emergencies on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum of 1 year landscaping/grounds experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with lawn machinery and power tools preferred.
• Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers. We are looking for a team player!
• General knowledge and basic skill level in certain household maintenance trades, such as mechanical, plumbing, electrical etc.
• Must be a responsible, dedicated, dependable, and self-directed person of highest integrity; organized and reliable; positive in attitude; and one who demonstrates pride in the service provided.
• Responsibilities are conducted in home of the client of RDV Staffing. The right candidate must genuinely be committed to collaborating with a team whose shared goal is to provide exemplary service.

Essential Physical Demands:

• Required to wear appropriate employer-provided safety equipment in performance of job.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds; occasional lifting up to eighty (80) pounds.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and remain standing on feet for lengthy periods of time.
• Ability to safely operate power machinery and tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
