The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our IT team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing technology projects, ensuring their successful execution from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, RDV/OA Private Capital stakeholders and clients, and technology vendors to deliver projects that meet their objectives while adhering to budget, timeline, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of having a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to effectively lead and communicate with diverse teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of technology projects, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with IT team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal IT team members, external vendors, and contractors.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any risks, issues, or deviations from the plan.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and team members in a clear and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Collaborate with IT team members and stakeholders to gather requirements, identify technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Manage project budgets and expenses, tracking costs and adjusting as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology trends and advancements, evaluating and recommending appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Continue to develop our internal project processes and workflows to stay in line with the latest project methodologies and trends.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards that summarize the complete IT project portfolio.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, ensuring their growth and professional development.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a Technology Project Manager, with a strong track record of successfully delivering technology projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong technical background, with an understanding of software development, infrastructure, and other technology domains.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant, professional, and confidential demeanor with the highest level of customer service.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate risks, take appropriate mitigation actions, and focus on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Highly proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and relevant technology domains are a plus.
