The Opportunity
Baton Collective, an affiliate of RDV Staffing, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through delivery. This role demands a dynamic individual who excels in coordinating with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery. With a focus on construction phases and strong vendor relationship management, you will play a crucial role in our innovative projects.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in project management to craft timelines, track milestones, and ensure deadlines are met. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence various facets of our business, primarily in the coffee franchise and youth club sports space, while traveling locally (up to 50% of the time) in West Michigan to oversee new construction builds, remodels, and/or overall operational projects.

Location and Hours
- Office is located in Ada with in-office hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- Monday & Friday has the flexibility to work remotely or in-office based on preference and business need.
- This role will require on-site presence at existing and new properties throughout the West Michigan area. Expected travel is up to 50% with minimal to no overnight stays.
What You'll Do
- Oversee projects from initial planning through final delivery.
- Coordinate between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
- Identify and utilize appropriate project management tools to plan and track project timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
- Communicate schedules and changes to all stakeholders.
- Plan and facilitate project meetings to align the team goals and track tasks ensuring all responsible parties are accountable.
- Prepare agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.
- Monitor task completion status to identify at-risk tasks and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage resources, budgets, and hours, adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines and project goals.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in project management, preferably in construction.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong understanding and exposure to construction projects.
- Proven ability to build and maintain vendors and external partner relationships.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
- Reliable transportation to travel locally up to 50% of the time with minimal to no overnight stays.
