The Opportunity

Responsible for supporting the Investment Accounting Group by performing a variety of accounting-related duties, while contributing to a culture of teamwork, innovation, critical thinking, and outstanding customer service. The Investment Accountant will collaborate with the Investment Accounting team to provide exceptional service to the business entities, individuals, trusts, and foundations that RDV Corporation serves.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for preparing weekly cash reports for management.
  • Assist in daily and weekly cash management via money movement.
  • Responsible for assisting in posting transactions into General Ledger system.
  • Serve as a utility player; primary backup for all senior and staff accountant positions within the department.
  • Reconciles various bank, broker, and custodian accounts.
  • Participates in office administration duties as assigned.
  • Performs special projects as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • One to two years of related work experience preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of general office practices, procedures, and office equipment.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable as assignments may vary day-to-day or week- to-week.
  • Experience with accounting software and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to initiate, prioritize, follow through on projects, work independently, and be self-directed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.  
  • Willingness and capacity to learn and grow.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, verbal, and written communications skills.
  • Uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities.
