The Opportunity
We are seeking a Learning and Development Director with a strong background in training and development to strengthen our employees’ skills, enhance our culture and deepen employee engagement. This role combines a developmental mindset with practical business leadership to design and deliver learning initiatives that build capability, connection, and a shared sense of purpose across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings insight and real-world understanding to create programs that enhance performance and reinforce our values. Working closely with executive leadership, this person will translate the use of industry recognized tools, external consultations, and internal programs into meaningful development experiences that support growth, trust, and long-term cultural alignment.

What You'll Do
Strategic Culture & Engagement Leadership
  • Partner with the COO to lead the continued development and refinement of culture strategies that build upon our foundation while adapting to future needs.
  • Partner with others in the organization to develop and execute employee engagement initiatives driving measurable improvements in satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct organizational assessments and culture audits to identify opportunities for improvement and track progress against key metrics
  • Partner with leaders to further integrate cultural values into our organization by utilizing education, training and tools that reinforce RDV value-aligned behaviors, decision making and collaboration
Learning & Development Excellence
  • Create, facilitate and oversee a comprehensive learning ecosystem that includes leadership development, technical skills training, and soft skills enhancement programs
  • Partner with and provide strategic direction to external consultants delivering our comprehensive leadership program, while building internal capability to support and reinforce learning between sessions.
  • Partner with Talent Services to activate competency frameworks and career development pathways that support talent mobility and succession planning
  • Evaluate and implement learning analytics and measurement systems to evaluate program effectiveness and demonstrate ROI
  • Act as resource and provide support to other functional areas and programs as appropriate
Organizational Development & Change Management
  • Partner with leaders to develop and implement change management strategies, learning opportunities, and maximize adoption
  • Design and facilitate team effectiveness interventions, including team building, conflict resolution, and collaboration enhancement
  • Create psychological safety frameworks that foster trust, open dialogue, and constructive collaboration across teams.
Informed Decision Making
  • Utilize best practices, peer networking and market data to anticipate workforce needs and guide strategic decisions
  • Design and administer employee surveys, pulse checks, and other assessment tools to gather actionable insights

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven manager of a team and service providers with strong organizational, project, and people management skills.
  • Proficiency with various industry personality and screening tests (Hogan, Predictive Index, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Apple products, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Experienced communicator, facilitator, mediator, and navigator.
  • Able to orchestrate relationships with multiple entities and personalities; keeps things on track, spots issues, maintains a high level of quality control, and protects the interests of the principals.
  • Highly conscientious; can be relied upon to follow through on detailed projects and complex assignments.
  • Maintains confidentiality to the highest degree and discretion in all circumstances.
  • Effective time management skills, organization, and prioritization.
  • Process-oriented and analytic with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with the highest standards and a strong sense of urgency.
