What You'll Do
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for various housekeeping and household duties to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the residence. Your tasks will include cleaning and dusting floors, ceilings, furnishings, hallways, fixtures, and other areas and monitoring and reporting inventory levels of cleaning supplies. In addition, you will be expected to complete specific projects related to general residential upkeep, such as scrubbing floors and organizing drawers. Other household duties will involve changing bed linens and towels, laundering and ironing linens and personal clothing, and reporting maintenance or repair issues to the Property Manager. Furthermore, you may also be required to greet vendors, answer the telephone, accept package deliveries, and communicate openly with other household staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment will be essential in this role.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this housekeeping position should have previous experience in housekeeping or house cleaning, with a preference for experience in a private home setting. The role will involve working primarily in private homes in Ada, Michigan, but may require travel to other properties. While maintaining an employer-employee relationship, the candidate should be committed to being part of a household staff team focused on fostering a respectful home environment. Ensuring a quiet and peaceful atmosphere in the household is essential, with a strong emphasis on respecting the privacy of family members. The employer will supply the necessary equipment and cleaning products, with guidance available from the supervisor when needed. The successful candidate will be responsible, dedicated, dependable, and display the utmost integrity. They should also prioritize neatness, organization, reliability, a positive attitude, and take pride in their service. Confidentiality is paramount, with a strict requirement for the highest level of privacy to protect the family's personal information.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work at a physically demanding pace.
• Ability to lift thirty (30) pounds to a maximum height of six (6) feet.
• Ability to remain standing on feet for lengthy periods of time; climb steps and stairs; stooping, bending, and kneeling.
• Ability to stand on a small step stool to accomplish cleaning tasks.
• Ability to push/pull vacuum cleaners and operate other household maintenance equipment for lengthy periods of time.
