The Opportunity
Rightbild Properties, an affiliate of RDV Staffing and subsidiary of Baton Collective, is offering an exciting opportunity for Facilities Technician to join our growing team. In this versatile role, you will play a vital role in maintaining our portfolio of properties across West Michigan. From vibrant Ada Village to other premier locations across West Michigan (including but not limited to Grand Rapids, Holland, and other lakeshore locations as needed), you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service and keeping our properties in pristine condition.
As a Facilities Technician, you'll be part of a dedicated and passionate team, performing a wide range of maintenance tasks both in- and outdoors. From lawn care and snow removal to painting, cleaning, and event set-up, your day will be varied and challenging, never monotonous. You'll work collaboratively with our team, taking pride in your work and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care.

Location and Hours
- Office is located in Ada with all work requirements within the West Michigan Area. 75% of responsibilities will be performed on/in managed properties outside of the office in Ada, Grand Rapids, Holland, and other parts of the lakeshore area.
- Standard working hours will be 7:00am – 3:00pm with flexibility required based on events and business needs including after-hours, earlier start times, weekend work, on-call rotations, and holiday support based on business need.

What You'll Do
- Conduct weekly property inspections for safety and functionality.
- Perform lawn care, snow removal, and de-icing.
- Handle basic janitorial and maintenance tasks like cleaning, light plumbing maintenance, painting, and HVAC filter changes.
- Communicate daily with facility management about building issues as well as effective communication with all levels of professionals with emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
- Respond to building occupants' requests for service and maintenance.
- Document time and expenses for billing purposes.
- Assist with event set-up and tear-down as needed.
What You'll Bring
- 1 – 2 years’ maintenance and/or handyperson experience.
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting (25 – 100lbs), climbing ladders, working on rooftops/heights, and operate standard maintenance machinery.
