The Opportunity
The Senior Accountant will perform general accounting functions RDV and affiliated entities, including financial reporting and budgeting, accounts payable functions, and management of the credit card program. The Senior Accountant will contribute to complete and accurate financial records while contributing to a culture of teamwork, innovation, critical thinking, and outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary contact for all accounting needs of assigned clients/entities. Thoroughly understand the business purpose and financial accounting and reporting needs of each entity.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements based on a complex, multi-tier ownership structure.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for individual and consolidated entities.
  • Prepare and record journal entries and allocations.
  • Supervise, train and mentor Staff Accountant assigned to shared entities and interns.
  • Work with Staff Accountant on all areas of accounts payable including vendor management, payment processing, and consistent, accurate coding.
  • Prepare and review various account reconciliations.
  • Administer the corporate credit card program including processing reports, reconciling to the general ledger, and troubleshooting user issues.
  • Prepare and submit 1099 and 1096 forms.
  • Research and summarize data, offer solutions, and elevate issues when required using discretion and judgment.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and promote efficiency.
  • Key role in software implementation, process improvement, and efficiency initiatives within the accounting team.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • 3+ years of related work experience required.
  • Strong user of accounting software programs and Microsoft Excel with a history of leveraging technology.
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, quality, and timeliness
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to initiate, prioritize, communicate, and follow through on projects.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees in a professional and highly confidential corporate environment.
