What You'll Do
SpringGR Emprende, Business Growth, & Alumni Program Support
- In coordination with the team, plan and implement the logistics for virtual and in-person trainings, meetings and events related to SGR Emprende (Spanish Program), Business Growth, and Alumni Events & Trainings.
- Attend assigned Emprende, Business Growth, and Alumni trainings and events as main support person to provide the following support:
- Technology use and setup
- Snack and meal setup and ordering
- Collect and record payments
- Support sign-up and communication process for events and trainings
- Setup and cleanup of training room space
- Data entry: record participant attendance, fieldwork, and tally points in Salesforce
- Communicate as needed to participants and alumni
- Create, edit, or set up PowerPoint presentations in Spanish for trainings and events for Emprende.
- Assist with Business Growth department logistics, communications, and processes.
- Organize and set up field trips for assigned participant programs both in English and Spanish.
- Assist with updating online platforms and email communications bilingually.
- Demonstrate flexibility when assisting with implementation of program changes in collaboration with the DOP and staff.
- Record and maintain contact lists in Salesforce, email, and texting services.
- Assist with data collection and reporting of information relevant to the program.
- Support administrative process of the interview process for program applicants.
- Organize and schedule office space booking requests in coordination with the Program Coordinator for events, trainings, and team meetings.
- Assist with ordering supplies as requested.
- Attending meetings as requested and keeping records of notes.
- Complete other program duties as assigned.
- Assisting SpringGR Director with special projects as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Business or related college degree preferred and/or a minimum of three to five years of administrative assistant experience in a business or non-profit environment required.
- Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with a variety of people; personal demeanor which is mature, courteous, cheerful, gracious, and hospitable. Must have a heart to help others and assist with tasks to support the program.
- Be confident using various technologies to support trainings and events. Determine best route to troubleshoot any issues with Technology. Work with available IT support when necessary.
- Demonstrated experience or an understanding of relationships and networking in multi-cultural contexts.
- Previous experience in not-for-profit setting and/or community affairs desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
- Task-oriented and problem-solving mentality with ability to learn technology quickly.
- Must have flexibility to work evenings.
- Excellent verbal and written communications, English grammar, spelling, punctuation and composition skills. Must be willing to work with a team and effectively communicate.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong ability to anticipate the needs of staff.
- A good understanding of general office practices, procedures, and office equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to initiate, prioritize, follow through on projects, and work independently.
- Shares commitment to and is comfortable producing communications in a way that represents Christian beliefs and principles.
- Must be able to operate an automobile and be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift/transport boxes of up to thirty (30) pounds.
- Ability to climb steps and stairs, bend, and kneel.
