You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial narrative of a thriving organization by ensuring the smooth flow of financial operations, overseeing critical operational and financial functions, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving continuous improvement across all accounting processes.
In this multifaceted role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership abilities, guiding a team of dedicated professionals. Your strategic vision will streamline month-end closing processes, oversee regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial reporting across multiple entities while adhering to industry best practices and GAAP standards. As year-end approaches, you’ll orchestrate seamless processes and liaise with tax teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Location and Hours:
- Office is located in Ada with in-office hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- Monday & Friday has the flexibility to work remotely or in-office based on preference and business need.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple operational accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, asset, and tax accounting.
- Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting for multiple entities with complex ownership structures.
- Implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP standards.
- Evaluates accounting processes and systems and implements optimizations.
- Identifies and implements enhancements to internal controls and procedures.
- Develops and directs accounting professionals and support staff.
- Collaborates with team members, partners, and external vendors to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and trouble shoot any issues.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting standards, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Keen attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in reporting.
