The Opportunity
This position exists to develop, support, and implement the technology strategy for the Foundations Division of RDV Corporation. Working closely with Foundations Directors, a System Analyst, and program teams, this position will be responsible for project leadership of all technology enhancements and implementations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understand and maintain an appreciation for the Foundations’ collaborative, compassionate, and service-driven operating environment.
  • Stay current on the range of existing and potential technology applications used within the Foundations Division.
  • Review existing technologies and internal processes; recommends areas for improvement, added value, efficiencies, and cost savings.
  • Consider the “big picture,” business processes, program relationships, and opportunities for synergy across various workgroups when developing and offering technology solutions.
  • Identify ways for Foundations departments to share technology, taking advantage of economies of scale and eliminating duplication.
  • Lead the discovery process to find optimal solutions to improve business outcomes within the Foundations Division.
  • Consistently works closely with Foundations Directors to make sure requests and work is prioritized across all departments.
  • Develop and share a projects calendar with the Director of Technology Services and Foundations Directors.
  • Educate and gain the consensus of Foundations Directors regarding technology strategy, prioritization of projects, timelines, and team involvement.
  • Manage each technology project through the full project life-cycle. 
  • Monitor progress and communicates project status to primary stakeholders and project sponsor.
  • Conduct regular project meetings with applicable team members to create project plans, communicate expectations, set goals and timelines, identify “roadblocks”, and obtain project updates.
  • Engage regularly with the Technology Services team by participating in team meetings, exchanging knowledge, and identifying and implementing best practices.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships needed for successful implementation and support of technology solutions and business goals.
  • Perform vendor due diligence and system security analysis before recommending the use of any provider or solution.
  • Identify and present total cost and hours required for all projects to the Foundations Directors.
  • Seek budgetary approval and manages all projects to the approved budget and timeline.
  • Identify solutions to remove or mitigate project roadblocks.
  • Utilize and manage various consultants as needed.
  • Create an inventory of all Systems used in the Foundations Division.
  • Has direct management responsibility for the Systems Analyst. Mentor, coach and encourage the professional growth and development of the Systems Analyst.  
  • Develop strong working relationships with others within the Foundations group and be inquisitive about the use of technology in each of their roles.
Elements of Success
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.  An educational and/or training emphasis in Information Technology required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in information technology, with at least 2 years of management experience.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
  • Remain current with technology trends and industry developments.
  • Previous experience in a not-for-profit environment desirable.
