The Opportunity
The Finance Manager is responsible for the execution of financial activities for CDV5 such as budgeting and financial reporting, analysis, and coordinating with existing resources on other related matters. In addition, this position will provide oversight to the accounting function and directs other finance or operational related projects for the CDV5 brand.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the financial operations of CDV5 including budget development, reporting, financial analytics, performance measurement, raising concerns and coordinating resources.
  • Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability and/or other financial activities.
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of accounting records, budgets and financial statements.
  • Presents financial data to the CDV5 ownership and leadership team in a streamlined and accurate manner.
  • Provides insight into trends, opportunities, and/or risks.
  • Prepares and analyzes financials of potential business development opportunities.  Presents findings and makes recommendations regarding these investment opportunities.
  • Works closely with the CDV5 leadership team to develop short and long-term strategic business plans.
  • Assists the Sr. Director of Business and Operations in developing and maintaining internal controls.
  • Works collaboratively with RDV Corporation as well as other internal and external business partners.
  • Recommends and initiates process improvements.
  • Develops strategies to minimize financial risk.
  • Analyzes and presents financial data to support recommendations regarding business opportunities.
  • Provides day to day leadership, coaching, and professional development opportunities for the Accounting Manager.
  • Acts as an overall ambassador for CDV5.
  • Works closely with the Sr. Director of Business Operations to set priorities and ensure all goals are achieved.
  • Performs financial policy and procedure development for CDV5 business operations.
  • Responsible for identifying the most effective use of existing technology and project managing selection and implementation of new technology solutions for CDV5 business operations.
  • Completes special projects at request of the Sr. Director of Business Operations.
Elements of Success
  • Bachelor’s of Accounting or Finance Degree and CPA required.
  • 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance and management experience.
  • Dedication to and encouragement of team atmosphere at CDV5.
  • A high level of professional discipline, personal integrity and financial acumen that inspires confidence from others.
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, while also having the curiosity and ability to determine the root causes.
