Position Summary:
Responsible to provide program, marketing and communication support for the SpringGR program and leadership team. Full-time, salaried/non-exempt position which reports to the Director of Business Development and the Director of Program Development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

SpringGR Program Support
  • Receive and process all applications from SpringGR training applicants which includes: communication about upcoming dates, interviews, and requirements for participation.
  • Respond to emails and phone calls to provide information and/or direct inquiries to the appropriate person.
  • Prepare information for meetings, classes, and events; order supplies and curriculum.
  • Plan the logistics for all trainings, meetings, and events related to SpringGR, including the Network Wide Graduation event.
  • Keep detailed records of all past and current participants including status, contact information, and survey information.
  • Collect metrics and surveys for each class to assist in building data systems and records.
  • Support bookkeeping and budgeting as requested.
  • Schedule and coordinate team meetings.
  • Assist with other tasks related to the program as requested.
SpringGR Marketing and Communications
  • Support and help develop marketing plans for SpringGR.
  • Become familiar with curriculum and support curriculum delivery with research on visual communication that will enhance learning.
  • Update website and social media content and help develop and support communication plans.
  • Prepare and send communications to participants for trainings and special events. Set up systems to easily access information.
  • Assist and coach participants on communications or marketing.
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business with marketing experience preferred. Relevant experience in communications and marketing may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Social Media platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and composition skills.
  • A good understanding of general office practices, procedures, and office equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to initiate, prioritize, follow through on projects, and work independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong ability to anticipate the needs of staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with a variety of people. Personal demeanor which is mature, courteous, cheerful, and gracious.
  • Strong interest in entrepreneurial work. Demonstrated experience in entrepreneurial endeavors preferred.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift/transport boxes of approximately thirty (30) pounds; stoop, bend, and climb steps and stairs; and have reliable transportation to transport self to various locations for work.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel locally.
